Baked potatoes are not hard to make, but they take a bit of planning since they take about 45-60 minutes to cook.  It’s always a good idea to make some extras so you have them for hash browns or soup!

Baked potatoes are not hard to make, but they take a bit of planning since they take about 45-60 minutes to cook.  It's always a good idea to make some extras so you have them for hash browns or soup!

Ingredients
  • 4 Russet potatoes whole, skin on
  • 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees-F.

  2. Wash the potatoes thoroughly in cold water to remove any dirt

  3. Drizzle the olive oil on a piece of foil or parchment paper and sprinkle the salt and pepper over the oil.

  4. Take each potato and roll it around in the oil/salt/pepper mixture until it's completely coated.

  5. Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack, or on a cookie sheet, and place in the oven.

  6. The potatoes are done when a fork penetrates to the center easily.

  7. Serving Ideas:

    Butter, Sour Cream, Chili, Chives, Bacon, Cheese, and pretty much anything else you can imagine!
